North Devon is an ideal place to enjoy the outdoors for work or play. However you may have to deal with first aid incidents when at a distance from emergency services. This course gives you the confidence to give first aid a go and help someone in an emergency. All our first aid courses have an outdoor and rural countryside focus.




16 Hrs Emergency Outdoor First aid (Includes EFAW)
Ideal for National governing body requirements such as Mountain leader, Lowland Leader, Paddlesports Awards, active outdoor people. Includes EFAW.




3 day First at Work Course
The full 3 day First at Work Course for appointed person. This course includes the 16 hours Emergency Outdoor First Aid course.




Emergency Paediatric First Aid 6 Hours (EFPA)
Provides you with the opportunity to develop the basic skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency paediatric first aid situations which could arise when looking after young people, children and babies




Paediatric First aid 12 hours
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework requires all early years providers in England to have at least one person who has a current and full paediatric first aid certificate on the premises and available at all times when children are present. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, including: assessing an emergency situation
dealing with an unresponsive infant or child CPR
choking,
meningitis, head and spinal injuries, anaphylaxis, asthma and more.




First aid for young people/ DofE
3 or 6 hrs course covering first aid related to expeditions, Ten Tors, DofE Award. Suitable for year 9 ( 14years old ).
