For 4 months Nov to March 26 I have been working on an expedition cruise ship as a m ountain and snowshoe leader. We covered 20,000 miles on the ship and explored the Falklands, South Georgia and the Antarctica Pennisular. We made it below the Antarctic Circle 70 degrees South and crossed the drake passage 20 times. I led snow shoe trips, zodiac wildlife tours and guided walks on the continent. Over 4 years I have cycle over 1200 miles to link Lands End (Cornwall) with John O'Groats off road. I have linked bridleways, traffic free cycle paths, old miltary roads, canal towpaths and minor roads to complete a fantastic journey through the uk. Cycling on average 50 miles a day, sometimes camping or staying in pubs, it has taken me on a good tour of the uk.
